Sumanasa Foundation presents The Commissions Project.

The objective of the programme is to commission artists to think and work outside of their comfort zones, reflect on their practice, re-imagine structures within the form and engage with contemporary and changing ideologies of what art stands for.
We firmly believe that the journey and process of creation is as crucial as the eventual creation of art, and this project aims to support artists fiscally as well as through foundational resources to create and present work in a neutral space that allows for discussion and growth.
Artists will be selected by a panel of eminent individuals of note and present their work at a festival curated by Sumanasa. Artists will exhibit the documentation of their work from the ideation stage to the presentation stage and discussions around the process of creation.
