The bangaloREsidency programme has been conceived as a long-term collaboration between the Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Bangalore and various innovative and discerning contemporary art/cultural spaces and partners in Bangalore, with a view to offering artists from Germany a space conducive to creative output and the opportunity to interact with Indian artists/experts, in the challenging context of Asia's fastest-growing metropolis.

Die bangaloREsidency wurde als Langzeitkollaboration zwischen dem Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Bangalore und verschiedenen innovativen und zeitgenössischen Kunst- und Kulturräumen in Bangalore initiiert. Ziel des Programmes ist es, Künstlern, die in Deutschland leben und arbeiten, eine Plattform zu bieten, die es ihnen ermöglicht, sich kreativ zu entfalten, sich den Herausforderungen einer pulsierenden, modernen indischen Metropole wie Bangalore zu stellen und mit lokalen indischen Künstlern zusammenzuarbeiten.
