The Power of a Successful Museum Volunteer Programme: An Interactive Workshop with IME & ReReeti

In honour of International Museum Day,
ReReeti Foundation & Indian Music Experience Museum & , in collaboration with ICOM India invite you to join us for an interactive workshop about the power of museum volunteers - and how to build your own volunteer programme.

Interesting for museum leadership, outreach departments, events & programming and education teams, or those who want to become museum volunteers, participants will leave with an outline for how to develop a volunteering programme and be given real-life examples from IME’s own programme.

Beginning with a short talk by Director of Indian Music Experience Museum, Manasi Prasad, about IME’s success with volunteers to date, the workshop will outline the steps that a museum needs to take to start developing their own such programme. Some best practices will also be shared, based on our experiences, to ensure volunteering is a mutually beneficial experience for both volunteers and the museum.

The workshop will be facilitated by Tejshvi Jain, Community and Partnerships Head at IME and Founder-Director at ReReeti Foundation, and Tiggy Allen, Operations Manager at ReReeti Foundation.
