World Cinema Carnival, the youngest moving images festival for avant-garde and alternative cinema primarily based in India and planning to expand our independent network worldwide. We are fostering a vibrant and diverse community of filmmakers, producers, animators, video artists and researchers who experiment with and counter the medium and language of cinema. Our thinking of curation performs beyond all subjugation and inhibitions while constantly experimenting with the contextual and conceptual forms and definitions.
We are currently accepting submissions for our 2023 edition of the carnival which we are envisioning to do more of a transnational festival.
