Making Museums Accessible Digitally

Welcome to a workshop on how to make digital platforms more accessible.

Currently, people across the globe are connected through technology and digital platforms effortlessly, whereas individuals who are differently abled face several challenges when it comes to accessing these platforms. It is extremely critical to start implementing access friendly tools and resources that will not hinder the involvement and participation of differently abled individuals.

Our moderator Siddhant Shah, architect, independent Disability Access & CRS consultant, and founder of Access for All, will be helping us to understand the best practices for transitioning to accessible and inclusive systems for all. The objective of this session is to equip the museum and heritage professionals to make the digital infrastructure and content inclusive for a diverse set of audience with varying abilities.

Please note - This is a free workshop. We request all software/tech/web design professionals working in the museum and heritage sector to join this workshop, as it is eventually with the help of you all, that the museums and heritage spaces can transition faster and make us digitally accessible for all!
