Helen Knowles is an artist and curator of the Birth Rites Collection. She lectures widely around the UK and abroad including the Royal College of Art and Brown University. In 2021, Knowles was awarded a research studentship from The University of Northumbria to carry out a practice-based Phd project called 'More than Human' Healthcare', a practice-based study of relationships where plant and artificial intelligences look after human health. Helen has a BA Hons from Glasgow School of Art and MFA Fine Art from Goldsmiths University.
