Bio:
Sanyukta has been working with children and youth in various urban settlements, villages, schools, and colleges for the last 11 years using drama. For her drama is a powerful and magical language that can change and transform those who perform as well as those who watch. She is the Founder and Managing Director of Aagaaz Theatre Trust. Aagaaz is based out of Hazrat Nizamuddin Basti and is a Theatre-in-Education repertory in the making. The organization’s vision is to use theatre as a mode of intervention in educational institutions and communities to begin and sustain dialogues about pertinent social issues.
